“Everybody Street illuminates the lives and work of New York’s iconic street photographers and the incomparable city that has inspired them for decades. The documentary pays tribute to the spirit of street photography through a cinematic exploration of New York City, and captures the visceral rush, singular perseverance and at times immediate danger customary to these artists. Covering nine decades of street photography, “Everybody Street” explores the careers and influences of many notable photographers––a number of whom have never been documented, featuring: Bruce Davidson, Elliott Erwitt, Jill Freedman, Bruce Gilden, Joel Meyerowitz, Rebecca Lepkoff, Mary Ellen Mark, Jeff Mermelstein, Clayton Patterson, Ricky Powell, Jamel Shabazz, Martha Cooper, and Boogie, with historians Max Kozloff and Luc Sante."

In this picture theres a girl posing for a picture and she wearing a beanie, the setting of this picture is in new york theres shops in the background. This picture was taken in colour, in my opinion it looks nice taken in colour because it looks nice, if Ricky Powell took it in black and white it wouldn't of come out as clear as it has in colour you wouldn't be able to see her facial features properly. The composition of this image is that she's standing on the left hand side of this picture, the background is calm there isn't no one around the place is really clean and organised. I think thats she's to close to the camera, and he's in the direct contact of her eyes the picture is unfocused. I think the photographer was standing still to capture a clear picture of this girl an the background and i think the cameras tilted a little bit. I think Ricky Powell has used a wide angle lens because theres detail in the background so the pictures open and the lenses has captured everything in the background. Because its about street photography but its not just focused on the street its also focused on her and its unusual because the photographer is switching it up abit by adding her into the photo.
